Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): The implementation of the Building Permit (IMB) service in Bone Regency currently still requires more attention. It can be seen that there are still people who do not know the requirements that must be met for the issuance of a Building Permit (IMB) and there are also people who still feel lazy to come to the service office to make a Building Permit (IMB). Most of them still involve the services of brokers to take care of the permit. This is due to the low level of public awareness and lack of socialization regarding the importance of having a Building Permit (IMB) in Bone Regency. Objective: This study aims to determine and understand the quality of service in the implementation of IMB services in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province, to find out the inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome existing obstacles. Methods: This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach because all the data obtained in the form of interviews and face-to-face or by means of interviews, observations and documentation. Result/Findings: The findings obtained by the authors in this study are based on indicators from the theory used, namely the implementation of IMB services (building permits) in DPMPTSP Bone Regency is good. Judging from the indicators, which are dominated by 3 indicators, it is of good value. 1) Tangible (tangible) is not good. 2) Reliability (reliability) is good. 3) Responsiviness (responsiveness) is good. 4) Assurance (guarantee) is not good. 4) Empathy (caring) is good. Conclusion: The results showed that the implementation of the Building Permit (IMB) service in Bone Regency had been going well, but there were still some things that needed attention. Seen in terms of facilities and infrastructure, the discipline of the apparatus, as well as timely guarantees in the services provided have not run optimally. The inhibiting factors are the lack of apparatus resources, apparatus discipline, limited facilities and infrastructure, and the performance of the apparatus is not optimal. Based on these inhibiting factors, the effort that can be done is to carry out the right recruitment, fostering apparatus discipline, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, and carrying out formal and non-formal education. From the discussion above, the writer has suggestions, namely that it is necessary to strive for the recruitment of apparatus who master certain fields, to study further related to communication, coordination, supervision and evaluation in IMB services, and the need to increase the competence of the apparatus.
