Abstract
ABSTRACT The author focuses on the social problems that still occur in the Great Aceh Capitol, which are street children, although there are rules and programs that build street children, but the problems about street children still occur often. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to find out the street children development program by UPTD RSAN. Observations focused on the effectiveness of the street children development program as well as the obstacles and efforts in its implementation. Method: The research method that the author uses is a descriptive qualitative method with data analysis through an inductive approach using Duncan's theory of effectiveness in Steers with three dimensions of goal achievement, integration and adaptation. The way to collect data is by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Finding/Result: From the analysis carried out by the author, with the establishment of the "Seujahtera House" concept, it has had a fairly good impact on street children in Aceh Besar District and has been running quite effectively although it cannot be said to be fully effective because there are still several obstacles. Conclusion: The results showed that it was effective, although there were several obstacles and several things that UPTD Rumoh Seujahtera Aneuk Nanggroe had to pay attention to in carrying out the coaching program for street children. With the implementation of this welfare home program, it is hoped that any obstacles will be corrected immediately, such as immediately completing the lack of facilities and also increasing the number of caregivers according to the number of children being fostered.
