Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The quality of regional financial reporting through the implementation of the Puncak Jaya Regency Regional Government Information System is not yet effective. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the quality of regional financial reporting through the implementation of the Puncak Jaya Regency Regional Government Information System. Method: The research method used by researchers in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques are carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Result: The results of the study obtained by researchers indicate that financial reporting through the Regional Government Information System is not yet fully effective in Puncak Jaya Regency, because of the eighteen indicators in this study, eight indicators are effective and ten indicators are not yet effective, which means that financial reporting through SIPD is not yet effective. Conclusion: Regional financial reporting through the Puncak Jaya Regency Regional Government Information System has not been running effectively, this is because there are still several obstacles that affect the quality of financial reporting, namely still constrained by network infrastructure, inadequate human resources, and obstacles in communication transmission. In order to improve the quality of financial reporting through the implementation of SIPD, it is recommended to provide quality network infrastructure, implement socialization to improve understanding, and improve the SIPD application. Keywords: Report Quality, Financial Reports, Regional Government Information Systems ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Belum efektifnya peningkatan kualitas pelaporan keuangan daerah melalui penerapan Sistem Informasi Pemerintahan Daerah Kabupaten Puncak Jaya. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas peningkatan kualitas pelaporan keuangan daerah melalui penerapan Sistem Informasi Pemerintahan Daerah Kabupaten Puncak Jaya. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sementara itu, teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh peneliti menunjukkan bahwa laporan keuangan melalui Sistem Informasi Pemerintahan Daerah belum sepenunya efektif di Kabupaten Puncak Jaya, karena dari delapan belas indikator yang ada dalam penelitian ini, delapan indikator nya efektif dan sepuluh indikator belum efektif yang artinya laporan keuangan melalui SIPD belum efektif. Kesimpulan: Pelaporan keuangan daerah melalui Sistem Informasi Pemerintahan Daerah Kabupaten Puncak Jaya belum berjalan dengan efektif, hal ini dikarenakan masih terdapat beberapa hambatan yang mempengaruhi kualitas pelaporan keuangan, yaitu masih terkendala infrastruktur jaringan, sumber daya manusia yang belum memadai, dan kendala dalam transmisi komunikasi. Guna meningkatkan kualitas pelaporan keuangan melalui penerapan SIPD, disarankan untuk penyediaan infrastruktur jaringan yang berkualitas, pelaksanaan sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, dan penyempurnaan aplikasi SIPD Kata Kunci: Kualitas pelaporan, Laporan Keuangan, Sistem Informasi Pemerintahan Daerah
