Abstract
Problem (GAP): The scope of responsibility and policies are not equal for each apparatus, with a lack of awareness of responsibility and existing policies among each apparatus. Excessive responsibilities result in an imbalance of tasks, preventing the apparatus from fulfilling their duties. It is often found that apparatus perform activities outside working hours, neglecting their responsibilities, leading to suboptimal performance. Objective: This study aims to identify the factors that affect the performance of civil servants in supporting the main duties of BKPSDM Kota Bandung. Method: This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Results/Findings: The most dominant factor influencing the performance of civil servants in supporting the main duties of BKPSDM Kota Bandung is the quality of work. BKPSDM Bandung employees have knowledge, skills, and capacity, indicating that they are competent individuals. Conclusion: BKPSDM Bandung employees have knowledge, skills, and capacity, indicating that they are competent individuals. All BKPSDM employees have performed their duties well and on time. However, in terms of punctuality, some BKPSDM employees are still late. BKPSDM employees are able to carry out their duties very well and always strive to deliver maximum work results. Each employee is also able to solve problems by communicating with each other during coordination meetings. Not all BKPSDM employees have critical thinking; there are still employees who are not competent in performing tasks and cannot assist in job execution maximally. BKPSDM employees always strive to create the best outcomes so that employees and leaders can together achieve the goals set by BKPSDM. Keywords: Performance, Civil Servants, Main Duties
