Abstract
ABSTRACK Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The research was motivated by nutritional problems with population quality, namely the increase in stunted children under the age of five. According to data from Asahan Regency in 2021, the stunting rate is 28.6%. The figure is still above the prevalence standard of North Sumatra (25.8%). Purpuse: The purpose of this study is to determine the Performance of the Office of Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection in Reducing Stunting Rates in Asahan District, North Sumatra Province. Method: This study uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach to DP2KBP3A performance according to Agus Dwiyanto Performance Theory. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by interviews with 10 informants, observation, and documentation. Results: The performance of DP2KBP3A Asahan Regency is currently starting to work in a focus on aspects of productivity, service quality and responsibility while in aspects of responsiveness and accountability are good, although there is still a lack of public trust with stunting. Conclusion: The performance of DP2KBP3A is going well, this is due to a decrease in the 2021 stunting rate by 657 then in 2022 the stunting rate in Asahan Regency to 296, it is recommended For existing and ongoing programs, please continue to be implemented not to be stopped, convince the community again that this stunting program is very good for future growth, and Regular data collection of children in Asahan Regency. Keywords : Stunting, Performance, DP2KBP3A ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penelitian di latarbelakangi oleh permasalahan gizi dengan kualitas penduduk yakni meningkatnya anak stunting di bawah usia lima tahun. Menurut data Kabupaten Asahan tahun 2021 angka stunting sebesar 28,6% . angka masih di atas standar prevalensi sumatera utara (25,8%). Tujuan: Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Kinerja Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk, Keluarga Berencana, Pemberdayaan Perempuan, dan Perlindungan Anak Dalam Penekanan Angka Stunting di Kabupaten Asahan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskiptif terhadap kinerja DP2KBP3A menurut Teori Kinerja Agus Dwiyanto. Teknik Pengumpulan data pada Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan Wawancara dengan 10 orang informan, Observasi, dan Dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Kinerja dari DP2KBP3A Kabupaten Asahan saat ini mulai bekerja secara fokus pada aspek produktivitas, kualitas layanan serta responsibilitas sedangkan pada aspek responsivitas maupun akuntabilitas sudah baik, meskipun masih ada rasa kurang percaya masyarakat dengan stunting. Kesimpulan: Kinerja dari DP2KBP3A berjalan dengan baik, hal ini dikarenakan adanya penurunan angka stunting 2021 sebesar 657 kemudian pada tahun 2022 angka stunting di Kabupaten Asahan menjadi 296, disarankan Untuk program-program yang sudah ada dan sedang berjalan harap tetap terus dilaksanakan jangan sampai terhenti, meyakinkan lagi para masyarakat bahwa program stunting ini sangat bagus untuk pertumbuhan di masa depan, dan Pendataan secara berkala terhadap anak yang ada di Kabupaten Asahan.
