Abstract

Problem/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the emergence of various problems in the implementation of WFH so it is assumed that the implementation of WFH is not going well. Purpose : The purpose of this research is to find out how effective the implementation of work from home is, what are the inhibiting factors in its implementation, as well as the efforts made by the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development, Bogor Regency, West Java Province, in overcoming obstacles to the implementation of work from home. Methods: This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and then drawing conclusions. Results: The findings obtained by the authors in this study are that the application of WFH for ASN has been quite effective and is running well amidst the limitations during the COVID-19 pandemic, although there are still obstacles that become problems in its implementation such as inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Conclusion: From the results of the research conducted, the researchers concluded that the effectiveness of implementing work from home in improving employee performance was quite good. Although in practice it still requires some efforts to maximize its implementation. Suggestions that can be given by the author, namely the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development, Bogor Regency, West Java Province, must strengthen employee discipline. then make improvements to the budget to facilitate employees in the implementation of work from home. In addition, it requires good coordination and cooperation between leaders and employees. Keyword : Efectiveness, Work From Home, Performance
