Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): there are still many employees who have not used their time properly so that time cannot be used effectively and other matters are sometimes resolved late, and there are also many employees who are less competent and professional Purpose: To determine the effectiveness of providing Additional Employee Income (TPP) on the performance of SipiI Civil Servants at the Singkawang City Tourism Office, West Kalimantan Province. Methods: The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions from what is obtained in the field. Results/Findings: the provision of TPP has been able to improve the performance of civil servants in carrying out their duties or work. After the provision of TPP, civil servants are more enthusiastic and also motivated to complete the work received and then reported in the e-kinerja application as a basis for providing additional income. In addition, employees pay more attention to time discipline and make the best use of time to fulfill TPP indicators. In particular, the provision of TPP has an effect on increasing work motivation and employee performance at the Singkawang City Tourism, Youth and Sports Office. Conclusion: Overall the effectiveness of providing Additional Employee Income (TPP) for Civil Servants (PNS) at the Singkawang City Tourism, Youth and Sports Office can be said to be effective with the indicator: blabla in improving employee performance even though there are still individuals who violate work discipline. However, TPP is very influential on improving the performance and morale of civil servants. Civil servants who commit violations related to work discipline have been given sanctions in the form of cutting the amount of TPP in accordance with Perwako number 35 of 2021, Singkawang City.
