Abstract

Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This research is motivated by the management of permit issuance carried out by the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Service (DPMPTSP) which must have technical recommendations from the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) first before issuing the permit document resulting in the licensing management process taking a long time because the Technical OPD which is located differently. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of public service malls in improving one-stop integrated services (PTSP) in the field of development, then find out the obstacles and all efforts made to overcome obstacles that causeproblems in Public Service Mall. Method: In this study using a qualitative research approach with the theory used Duncan's Theory of Effectiveness (in Steers, 1985: 53). The collection technique used is by means of observation, interviews and documentation. As for analyzing the data, the authors used data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Results: The results obtained after carrying out the study showed that it was necessary to add information technology facilities that were still complained about minimally by the public. For example, updating the official website that has never been used properly, and may also be able to distribute information brochures and more specifically socialize to the public. Furthermore, it prepares a study on the institutional capacity building of the Regional Licensing and Investment Agency of Karawang Regency to draft a new Regional Regulation on PDKPM Institutions, which is able to accommodate the implementation of the Task fan function of Investment Affairs and organize One-Stop Integrated Services in the Field of Investment. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the existence of a Public Service Mall in Improving One-Stop Integrated Services in the Development Sector implemented in Karawang Regency has not been effective, those that have been well maintained and those that are still more or less improved, especially socialization to the community.
