Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): Utilization of information technology in government agencies is a necessity to improve services in various sectors in order to support the government's role in realizing transparent and accountable governance, this is because the very rapid development of technology requires an agency to obtain information more quickly and accurately, so the use of the system This information is expected to make it easier to carry out work and service functions to realize good services, including the effectiveness of electronic-based personnel data which is expected to assist in ASN career development.Purpose: Every change certainly has obstacles that cannot be resolved optimally. The obstacle experienced by the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development is that the development of personnel data applications in the context of ASN career development is not optimal, this is due to the lack of qualified human resources resulting in applications not being utilized optimally. Method: The theory used in this research is the theory of effectiveness which has 4 elements, namely: production or productivity, quality, efficiency and flexibility. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an inductive approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used by the researcher is Sugiyono's model, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification. Conclusion: The implementation of the Personnel Management Information System in the context of ASN Career Development is quite good, where in the implementation of the Personnel Management Information System it is in accordance with the Standard Operational Produce (SOP). In order to overcome obstacles related to SIMPEG in the context of ASN career development, researchers suggest developing an information network which is connected to each existing regional device, so that close coordination and communication is formed between BKPSDM as a provider of personnel services and regional device, Increase the number of facilities and infrastructure that can support the quality of the implementation of the Personnel Management Information System, Plan for additional employees who are able to process Management Information Systems Existing staffing.
