Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): (Contains the background behind the research During the COVID-19 pandemic, all paradigms of life in Indonesia and even the world experienced changes from the economic sector, education and even government, especially the performance of the Communications and Information Technology Office in Tangerang Regency which was directly and indirectly affected by the policy of working from home and meetings through the media. online where this is managed by the Tangerang Regency Diskominfo.Methode: This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with an inductive approach, where the authors obtain data by means of interviews, observation and documentation Result: The Organizational Performance of the Communication and Informatics Service during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, was considered good and the trust from the leadership was seen from the performance reports of government agencies where the results were satisfactory so that the performance of the Tangerang Regency Communication and Information Office with a budget realization of 94.4%Conclusion: : The performance of the Tangerang Regency Communication and Information Office has been planned in theory, but there are still some shortcomings such as insufficient human resources, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and changes in targets that cause changes in the organization's plans. The author provides suggestions including additions so that the performance of Diskominfo is maximized, then adding facilities and infrastructure so that the work done by employees can be easy, comfortable and well structured, budget reductions have an effect on the economic recovery due to the covid-19 pandemic, so the author's suggestions are the things that Discominfo is carried out, namely working according to the main duties and functions properly so that the trust and budget submitted to the leadership can be approved for the progress and smooth running of the work.
