Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The research is based on the lack of human resources in the Regional Inspectorate of South Kalimantan Province based on data where the standard staff should be 52 people but only 33 people are available, this is still far from the results of the workload analysis at the Regional Inspectorate of South Kalimantan Province, then the supervision budget is cut to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the limited mobility of supervision to the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations. Purpose: This study aims to determine and analyze the performance of the Regional Inspectorate of South Kalimantan Province in carrying out its main tasks and functions during the COVID-19 pandemic, the existing inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome these inhibiting factors. Method: The author uses qualitative research with descriptive methods and inductive approaches, among others, by using interviews, observation and documentation. Result: Based on the results, the author found that the Performance of the Regional Inspectorate of South Kalimantan Province in the Implementation of the Supervision Function During the Covid-19 Pandemic had been going well but not yet optimal due to the problem of the pandemic itself, the lack of human resources in the form of employees. Conclusion: However, this can be overcome by using online-based monitoring support technology, then monitoring targets that are not carried out according to schedule because budget cuts are then transferred to the next budget plan as well as maximizing human resources by increasing their workload so that all monitoring targets are in the work program annual supervision (PKPT) can be achieved.
