Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): The village is the spearhead of government in Indonesia, because of this the village needs to have competent village apparatus in carrying out its duties and functions, to be able to empower the village apparatus whose role at the regional level is the Community and Village Empowerment Service. Department Of Community And Village Empowerment In Improving The Quality Of Village Apparatus In Murung Raya Regency. Purpose: This study has the aim of obtaining data and information related to the implementation of the Performance of the Apparatus of the Community and Village Empowerment Service in improving the quality of the village apparatus in Murung Raya district. apparatus efforts in overcoming obstacles in improving performance. Method: This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method using an inductive approach, with data collection techniques namely observation, interview and documentation techniques then in analyzing the data by data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Result: The results showed that the Performance of the Apparatus of the Community and Village Empowerment Service was quite good but not optimal in improving the quality of the village apparatus in Murung Raya district. Conclusion: This can be seen from the five dimensions of performance according to TR Mitchell where there are three dimensions that show the performance is not optimal, namely the quality of work , the ability of the apparatus and Work Discipline, while the other two dimensions are good, namely the Initiative and Communication dimensions. Efforts made by the Murung Raya district DPMD apparatus to overcome this problem are by increasing cooperation with the sub-district in conducting inspections of the village apparatus to be replaced, improving the quality of human resource education in the DPMD, optimizing and adding facilities and infrastructure in the implementation of the village apparatus.
