Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement / Background (GAP): The author focuses on the problem of using the official government website as a means of public service in Kutai Kartanegara Regency which is carried out by the Communication and Information Office of Kutai Regency. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of local government websites as a means of public service in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Method:: The research used is a qualitative research method with an inductive approach using the theory of effectiveness by Gibson and Steers and data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation, interviews/interviews and documentation. Results/Findings: In the process of this research, it shows that the website of the local government of Kutai Kartanegara Regency is running effectively. It is evident from the appearance of the website that it is in accordance with the needs needed by the community. Conclusion: The effectiveness of the official website of the local government of Kutai Kartanegara Regency www.kukarkab.go.id has met the criteria. It can be seen that this local government website has been used for the benefit of the agency in providing information and public services. Based on observations on the www.kukarkab.go.id website, it was found that on the website there are various public services that are presented in an integrated manner and can be accessed by the public through one portal. Through the link connected to the www.kukarkab.go.id portal, the public can easily find the link for the Regional Apparatus Organization needed. Keywords: Effectiveness, Website, public service. ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penulis berfokus pada permasalahan mengenai penggunaan website resmi pemerintah sebagai sarana pelayanan publik di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Komunikasi dan informatika Kabupaten Kutai. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan website pemerintah daerah sebagai sarana pelayanan publik di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Metode: Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif dengan menggunakan teori efektivitas oleh Gibson dan Steers dan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengamatan/observasi, wawancara/interview dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Pada proses penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa website pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara berjalan dengan efektif. Terbukti dari tampilan website sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang diperlukan oleh masyarakat. Kesimpulan: Efektivitas website resmi pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara www.kukarkab.go.id telah memenuhi kriteria. Dapat diketahui bahwa website pemerintah daerah ini telah digunakan untuk kepentingan instansi dalam menyediakan informasi dan pelayanan publik. Berdasarkan pengamatan pada website www.kukarkab.go.id, peneliti menemukan bahwa di website tersebut tersedia berbagai pelayanan publik yang disajikan secara terpadu dan dapat diakses oleh publik melalui satu portal. Melalui link yang terhubung dengan portal www.kukarkab.go.id, masyarakat dapat dengan mudah menemukan link Organisasi Perangkat Daerah yang dibutuhkan.
