Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP): The Regional Financial Management Information System (SIPKD) is an integrated application created by the Directorate General of Regional Finance of the Ministry of Home Affairs. SIPKD provides benefits in regional financial management. However, in the operation of SIPKD, there are still many problems faced. This has resulted in the benefits of SIPKD not being fully realized. Objectives: This study aims to determine how the implementation of SIPKD in regional financial management in the City of Banjarmasin, the inhibiting factors in the use of SIPKD, and the efforts made by the Regional Government of the City of Banjarmasin Methods: The author uses a qualitative research method with an inductive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The author analyzed the data using reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Results/Findings: the results of the research that the author conducted using SIPKD in regional financial management were not optimal. This is caused by employees who are still not proficient in using SIPKD, supporting facilities are not optimal, the network in operating SIPKD sometimes has errors, and information has not been updated on the website. The Banjarmasin City Government made an effort to optimize SIPKD, namely continuing to provide training for employees regarding the operation of SIPKD and Adding employees at Bakeuda Banjarmasin City, as well as repairing and updating facilities and infrastructure. Suggestions from the author for the Banjarmasin City government are to often provide periodic training on SIPKD, install an antivirus to maintain data security, and immediately use the Local Government Information System (SIPD) in Regional Financial Management in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
