Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the accumulation of employee data in the city of Bandung which can be seen in the list of online-based personnel management status lists with the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG). Purpose: This study aims to determine the management of the Civil Service Management Information System in the city of Bandung. Method: This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach based on the Elements of Management theory. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and documents. Result: The results in the field state that based on the 6 indicators (Men, Money, Method, Materials, Machine, Market) it cannot be said to be completely good. Employees in the Bandung City Government Environment still do not understand the procedure for using SIMPEG due to the lack of socialization carried out. There is no normative basis that contains special rules regarding the implementation and management of SIMPEG in the city of Bandung. Conclusion: Based on the description of the Theory of Management Elements in the field, SIMPEG management in Bandung is good. However, there is still a need for efforts from the Bandung City BKPSDM to be able to provide periodic socialization and training to management employees and SIMPEG users as well as to maximize facilities and infrastructure and also to follow up on the normative basis regarding the management and implementation of SIMPEG in Bandung City.
