Abstract
ABSTRAK Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The COVID-19 pandemic is a non-natural disaster that has occurred in almost all parts of the world, including Indonesia. The government is making efforts in handling the COVID-19 pandemic disaster, one of which is by providing free COVID-19 vaccines to all its people. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to find out how the performance of the Bangka Regency Health Office in implementing COVID-19 vaccination in Bangka Regency, to find out the inhibiting factors for the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination in Bangka Regency as well as the efforts made to overcome the inhibiting factors in the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination and to find out how is the awareness of the people of Bangka Regency in the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination. Method: This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach. Techniques in data collection using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Result: Based on the results of research conducted at the Bangka Regency Health Office, it was concluded that the performance of the Health Office in implementing the COVID-19 vaccination in Bangka Regency was quite good, although there were some that were not optimal. All aspect indicators are quite good except for the responsiveness indicator which is still not optimal. There are several obstacles, namely the lack of public awareness of COVID-19 vaccination, the use of ID cards (ID cards) outside the domicile of Bangka Regency, and the lack of human resources in the implementation of COVID-19 vaccinations. The Bangka Regency Health Office has also made several efforts and solutions to overcome existing obstacles, such as carrying out socialization and promotion of COVID-19 vaccinations, implementing door-to-door COVID-19 vaccinations or picking up the ball, and giving gifts or rewards to people who carry out COVID-19 vaccinations. Public awareness in Bangka Regency in implementing the COVID-19 vaccination itself is still low, this is evidenced by the implementation of vaccinations that must be picked up directly by the Bangka Regency Health Office, especially in rural areas. Conclusion: The performance of the Bangka District Health Office is quite good with the existing obstacles, but the existing health workers still need to be improved.
