Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This study focuses on the implementation of the village family planning program at the Gowa Regency Population Control and Family Planning Office. Objective: This study aims to determine the implementation of the Family Planning Village program in Gowa Regency, obstacles, and efforts to overcome obstacles in the implementation of the Family Planning Village program in Gowa Regency. Methods: This study uses qualitative research methods in the form of descriptive with an inductive approach using the Implementation theory of Edward III. Data collection techniques were carried out by conducting interviews, observations and documentation. Result: The authors' findings in this study are that the implementation of the family planning village program in Gowa Regency has been going well, it's just that there are still obstacles both from the government and from the community itself.. Conclusion: The implementation of the Family Planning Village Program in Gowa Regency is going well, but there are constraints regarding the budget, human resources, and lack of awareness from the community of the importance of the Family Planning program. Budget allocation, improving the quality of human resources, and outreach to the public are the government's efforts to overcome existing obstacles.
