Abstract
Problem Statement/ Background (GAP): The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on Regional Original Income. Where in the midst of the widespread decline in Regional Original Income, there was actually an increase in Regional Original Income managed by the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Demak Regency in 2020. Purpose : The purpose of this study was to find out how the income growth of the Department of Agriculture and Food of Demak Regency was, to find out the inhibiting factors, and the efforts that had been made to increase the income. Method : The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with an inductive approach. The data used in this research is the Budget Realization Report of the Department of Agriculture and Food of Demak Regency as secondary data and the results of interviews from the Department of Agriculture and Food of Demak Regency as primary data. Data analysis uses data reduction analysis methods, data presentation, data description through financial ratio analysis and drawing conclusions. Result : The results of this study indicate that the income growth of the Department of Agriculture and Food in the period 2018-2021 has fluctuated. in 2019 the income of the Demak Regency Agriculture and Food Service grew by 17.3% compared to the previous year, while for the 2020 period the growth ratio was 0.4% while in 2021 the growth ratio of the Demak Regency Agriculture and Food Service experienced a significant decline. significant -30%, which means that there is a decrease in performance experienced by the Department of Agriculture and Food of Demak Regency in the 2021 fiscal year period. Conclusion: Based on the results of the analysis, it is necessary to optimize business service retribution by increasing the quality of processed agricultural products that will be sold to the public. so that it has high competitiveness and is attractive in the eyes of the community.
