Abstract
Through Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2016 concerning Control of Animals, the Pamong Praja Police and Fire Unit of Nagekeo Regency has the right to take action against everything that violates Regional Regulations, including controlling livestock which is very unsettling for the community in the Capital area of Mbay, Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Some data in the court shows that there are still many farm animals that roam in public places so that it disturbs public order and peace.The purpose of this study was to find out how the performance of the Pamong Praja Police and Fire Unit Apparatus in the enforcement of Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2016 concerning Animal Control in Nagekeo Regency.The researcher used a descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach which aims to obtain information about the current situation by looking at the relationship between the existing variables. The research data were obtained through interviews, documentation, observation, and data triangulation.The results show that the performance of the Pamong Praja Police and Fire Units in Nagekeo Regency has not run optimally. This is indicated by the lack of indicators of goal, feedback, tools or facilities, competencies, motives, and opportunities because there are many obstacles in controlling livestock. However, it is quite good in terms of standards because in service to the community it has followed the existing SOP. To overcome the various problems faced related to the control of livestock, it is hoped that the Pamong Praja Police and Fire Units of Nagekeo Regency can increase intensive cooperation with various parties in order as well as increasing the number and quality of infrastructure supporting Keywords: Performance, Regional Regulations, Livestock Control
