Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): (Contains the background behind the research) the low ownership of population documents for the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) residents in Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province. The low ownership of population documents for the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) residents has made the Population and Civil Registration Office of Batanghari Regency to formulate a strategy for issuing population documents so that ownership of population documents for the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) residents in Batanghari Regency, Batanghari Province is evenly distributed and fulfilled.Objective : to find out what are the factors of strength, weakness, opportunity and inhibition of the issuance of population documents for the residents of the Anak Dalam Tribe in Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province. Methode: This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with an inductive approach, where the authors obtain data by means of interviews, observation and documentation Result The issuance of population documents for residents of the Suku Anak Dalam carried out by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Batanghari Regency has been going well, but there are still obstacles that cause the process of issuing population documents to not run well and smoothly. For example, there is still a lack of understanding of the people of the Orang Rimba on the importance of population documents and in the process of publishing population documents, there are still contradictory cultures and customs in the recording process, such as the example of women who are not allowed to be photographed or recorded.Conclusion: The issuance of this population document is good, but there are still weaknesses and obstacles that need to be overcome, namely regarding the awareness of the Suku Anak Dalam population towards the importance of population administration, and contrary to the customs of the Suku Anak Dalam residents, at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Batanghari Regency. budget to complete facilities and infrastructure in the recording process for population documents. The suggestions given to the author are increasing the number and intensity of socialization to the Suku Anak Dalam residents, conducting routine socialization activities to the residents of the Suku Anak Dalam and improving facilities and infrastructure in the process of issuing population documents for the residents of the Suku Anak Dalam so that documents are issued and ownership of population documents for the population of the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province, it is evenly distributed and fulfilled.
