Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the performance of the apparatus in the context of developing the Lake Revenge tourist attraction, considering that the performance of the apparatus has not been maximized in developing the Lake Dendam tourist attraction in Bengkulu City. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the Performance of the Tourism Office Apparatus in the Development of Lake Dendam Tourism Objects in Bengkulu City, Bengkulu Province. The performance theory used according to Dwiyanto (2012: 98) uses 5 (five) factors, namely productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility and accountability. Method: The method used is a qualitative-quantitative mixed method with inductive approaches. Result: The results showed that the Performance of the Tourism Office Apparatus in the Development of the Lake Dendam Tourism Object as a whole was in the fairly good category with an average score of 2.22. Conclusion: Performance of the Tourism Office Apparatus in the Development of the Lake Dendam Tourism Object as a whole was in the fairly good category with an average score of 2.22. Implementation constraints are the lack of human resources and the ability of professional apparatus in the field of tourism and the lack of participation from the community, suggestions for the Tourism Office should provide tourism training to the apparatus and invite the community to support tourism development.
