Abstract
This study aims to identify and analyze the management of the market levy increase regional revenue in Palu. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. In this research, analysis of market tax management with aspects studied is the planning, organizing, implementation and monitoring. The results showed that the management of the market levy increase revenue in Palu needs to be improved. As for the management constraints of market retribution that composition the number of officers collector levy inadequate by the number of vendors, and lack of quality of the staff at the Department of Industry Trade Cooperatives and SMEs, lack of care facilities market and the limited support facilities, yet the maximum data collection mandatory levy and fee collection market, lack of awareness traders as a compulsory levy and Weak monitoring the implementation of the levy charged. While efforts to improve their management of retribution is to improve the quality of personnel the Department of Industry Trade Cooperatives and SMEs, Improve infrastructure and market facilities, Maximizing Data Collection and the collection of levies Markets, Increase Awareness and Improvement Traders Monitoring System. Suggestions of research (1) Including the employees in various trainings financial administration, management courses and computer courses. (2) To cooperate with relevant agencies.
