Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dilakukannya proses penelitian ini yakni agar bisa diketahui bagaimana saja kesiapan KPU Flores Timur dalam menghadapi pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2019 di Kabupaten Flores Timur. Hal ini dikarenakan data dari Bawaslu (Badan Pengawas Pemilu) yang menunjukan bahwa Kabupaten Flores Timur masuk di urutan ke enam dengan Indeks Kerawanan Pemilih tertinggi di Indonesia. Adapun metode penelitian yang dipakai oleh penulis yakni metode derskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif dikarenakan penulis berusaha untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengkaji suatu keadaan objek magang atau penelitian dengan mengumpulkan data-data yang berada di lapangan kemudian dibahas dan dianalis sehingga bisa memperoleh kesimpulan umum dan juga pengetahuna akan objek tertentu berdasarkan sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai oleh penulis yaitu wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi tentang Kesiapan Komisi Pemilihan Umum Flores Timur Dalam Menghadapi Pemilihan Umum Legislatif Tahun 2019 Di Kabupaten Flores Timur, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa kesiapan KPU Flotim sendiri sudah berjalan dengan cukup baik tetapi belum begitu optimal. Ini dibuktikan dengan dimensi penyelenggaraan pemilu yang bebas dan adil serta dimensi kontestasi yang sangat rendah Kata kunci : KPU Flores Timur, Partai Poitik, Pemilu Legislatif ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to study how to prepare the East Flores KPU in the 2019 legislative general election in East Flores Regency. This is due to data from the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) which shows East Flores District ranks sixth with the highest Voters Vulnerability Index in Indonesia. The research method used by the author is a descriptive method with inductive considerations related to the author encouraging to describe and review some of the objects of internship or research by collecting data in the field, displayed, and analyzed to obtain general facts based on primary and secondary data sources with data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. Based on the results of interviews and documentation about the readiness of the East Flores General Election Commission in Facing Legislative Elections in 2019 In the East Flores Regency, the author decided that the readiness of the KPU Flotim itself had run well, but was not optimal.
