Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem / Background (GAP):The dissemination of public information through the official website of the Lanny Jaya Regency Government still faces several challenges, particularly limited network infrastructure and low digital literacy among the community. These issues have led to the suboptimal function of the website as a medium for delivering public information services.Objective:This study aims to evaluate the quality of public information services delivered through the official website www.lannyjayakab.go.id, based on the principles of transparency, accountability, accessibility, public participation, and the balance of rights and responsibilities.Method:The research uses an exploratory qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. Findings / Results:The website has been used as an information medium by the public and is actively managed by the Public Relations Division. However, technical constraints and low digital literacy remain significant obstacles to its optimal use. Conclusion:The website is a fairly effective tool for delivering public information services, but improvements in digital infrastructure and digital literacy training are necessary to ensure more equitable and optimal service delivery. Keywords: Public Information, Government Website, Transparency, Lanny Jaya, Digital Literacy ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penyebaran informasi publik melalui situs web resmi Pemerintah Kabupaten Lanny Jaya masih menghadapi kendala, terutama keterbatasan infrastruktur jaringan dan rendahnya literasi digital masyarakat. Hal ini berdampak pada kurang optimalnya fungsi website sebagai media layanan informasi publik. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas layanan informasi publik yang disampaikan melalui situs web www.lannyjayakab.go.id, berdasarkan prinsip transparansi, akuntabilitas, aksesibilitas, partisipasi, serta keseimbangan hak dan kewajiban. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan.. Hasil/Temuan: Situs web telah digunakan sebagai media informasi oleh masyarakat dan dikelola aktif oleh bagian Humas. Namun, tantangan teknis dan rendahnya literasi digital masih menjadi hambatan. Kesimpulan: Pemanfaatan situs web cukup efektif, tetapi perlu peningkatan infrastruktur dan pelatihan digital agar layanan informasi lebih merata dan optimal.
