Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): The problem that motivates researchers to take this title is how the quality of local government websites in Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. Purpose: to determine and analyze the quality of local government websites in Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. Method: qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants in the study consisted of government elements, website managers, and service users. Results/Findings: the findings obtained are that although the website of the Southeast Aceh District Government has functioned as a means of public information and services, there are still various weaknesses, such as the lack of information updates, limited interactive features, and constraints on accessibility for people in certain areas. Conclusion: The Communication and Informatics Office of Southeast Aceh District, as an agency representing the local government in terms of information technology management, has shown good readiness in supporting the implementation of e-government, one of which is realized through the existence of an official local government website, but there are still a number of obstacles. Suggestion: it is expected to immediately design a directed work program related to the development and optimization of the official local government website (acehtenggarakab.go.id). In addition, the Communication and Informatics Office should start taking concrete steps in strengthening internal capacity, for example by conducting training and coaching for ASN in terms of managing government information systems and digital applications.
