Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The implementation of the Attendance System (SIDAN) at the BKPSDM of Palangka City still encounters issues related to discipline. Purpose: To analyze the extent to which civil servant (PNS) discipline has improved following the implementation of SIDAN. Method: This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Results: The findings indicate that SIDAN has been fairly effective in improving employee discipline, analyzed based on Afandi's dimensions of discipline—namely punctuality and responsibility—with indicators such as timely attendance, effective use of time without absenteeism, compliance with regulations, achievement of work targets, and completion of work reports. However, challenges remain, including technical issues, lack of awareness, and limited employee understanding of the system. Conclusion: The efforts undertaken include infrastructure improvement, integration with Employee Performance Allowance (TPP), training, regular supervision, and awarding disciplined employees. The driving factors for increasing discipline consist of real-time monitoring systems, periodic evaluations, and a positive work culture. Keywords: Improvement, Discipline, SIDAN ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penerapan absensi Sistem Kehadiran (SIDAN), di BKPSDM Kota Palangka masih ditemukan permasalahan terkait disiplin. Tujuan: menganalisis sejauh mana disiplin PNS meningkat setelah penerapan SIDAN. Metode: yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil: menunjukkan bahwa SIDAN cukup baik dalam meningkatkan disiplin pegawai, yang dianalisis berdasarkan dimensi disiplin menurut Afandi, yaitu ketaatan waktu dan tanggung jawab serta indikatornya yaitu masuk kerja tepat waktu, penggunaan waktu secara efektif dan tidak pernah mangkir, mematuhi semua aturan, target pekerjaan dan membuat laporan kerja. Meskipun demikian, terdapat hambatan seperti gangguan teknis, kurangnya kesadaran, serta kurangnya pemahaman pegawai terhadap sistem. Kesimpulan: upaya yang dilakukan antara lain peningkatan infrastruktur, integrasi dengan Tambahan Penghasilan Pegawai (TPP), pelatihan, pengawasan rutin, serta pemberian penghargaan bagi pegawai disiplin. Faktor pendorong peningkatan disiplin meliputi sistem pemantauan real-time, evaluasi berkala, dan budaya kerja yang baik. Kata kunci : Peningkatan, Disiplin, SIDAN
