Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This research was motivated by problems in the community in Banda Aceh City regarding understanding and awareness of the importance of Political Education in Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province. This problem is the main target and focus for local parties in Aceh to build awareness among the people of Aceh, especially in the city of Banda Aceh, so that they have political understanding. Purpose: The aim of this research is to examine and find out the role of political parties in Aceh in providing political socialization in Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors during the implementation of socialization. Method: This research employs a qualitative approach with an inductive method. The data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Result: From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the role of the Aceh Party in providing political education in the city of Banda Aceh has been running well based on factual and ideal dimensions, but is still Not optimal from a Normative perspective because there is still a lack of quality education for Aceh party cadres or members. Apart from that, the obstacles encountered meant that the program and process, namely in terms of regional access, quality of human resources and the limited planned budget, did Not run as expected. Conclusion: This research concludes that the Aceh Party has carried out political outreach in accordance with the law, but it has not been optimal due to the low education of some of its members. Strong support comes from the enthusiasm and commitment of party members, as well as the underlying legality. The main obstacles include difficult access to remote villages, limited budgets, and low quality of human resources, both among cadres and communities who have a negative view of politics. Suggestions for the Aceh Party include increasing political outreach to the younger generation, improving the quality of human resources through internal discussions, and looking for alternative funding sources other than the government. Keywords: Aceh Party, Education, Politic ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Permasalahan di masyarakat di Kota Banda Aceh mengenai pemahaman dan kesadaran akan pentingnya Sosialisasi politik Di Kota Banda Aceh Provinsi Aceh. Permasalahan ini menjadi target serta fokus utama bagi Partai lokal di Aceh untuk membangun kesadaran kepada masyarakat aceh terkhusus di Kota Banda Aceh agar memiliki pemahaman politik. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengkaji serta mengetahui bagaimana peran partai politik di aceh dalam memberikan Sosialisasi politik di Kota Banda Aceh Provinsi Aceh dan mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat selama pelaksanaan sosialisasi. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu dengan wawancara, observasi, kemudian dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran Partai Aceh dalam memberikan Sosialisasi politik diKota Banda Aceh sudah berjalan dengan baik yang didasarkan oleh dimensi faktual dan ideal namun masi belum optimal dari segi Normative karena masih kurangnya kualitas Pendidikan kader ataupun anggota Partai Aceh yang masih belum cukup, disamping itu adanya hambatan yang ditemui membuat program serta prosesnya yaitu dari segi akses wilayah, kualitas SDM serta Anggaran yang terbatas direncanakan tidak berjalan sesuai diharapkan. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Partai Aceh telah melakukan sosialisasi politik sesuai dengan undang-undang, namun belum maksimal karena rendahnya pendidikan sebagian anggotanya. Dukungan kuat datang dari semangat dan komitmen anggota partai, serta legalitas yang mendasarinya. Kendala utama termasuk sulitnya akses ke desa-desa terpencil, anggaran terbatas, dan kualitas SDM yang rendah, baik di kalangan kader maupun masyarakat yang memiliki pandangan negatif terhadap politik. Saran untuk Partai Aceh meliputi peningkatan sosialisasi politik kepada generasi muda, peningkatan mutu SDM melalui diskusi internal, dan mencari sumber pendanaan alternatif selain dari pemerintah.
