Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the problem of using ethnic politicization in the West Kalimantan regional elections for the 2018 – 2024 period. Purpose: Obtaining an overview of the analysis of ethnic politicization in the 2018 West Kalimantan Province regional head election. Method: This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with an inductive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews (28 informants) and documentation. Result: The results obtained by the author in this research, namely that in the 2018 West Kalimantan governor election, there was ethnic politicization used by candidate pairs and the success team in seeking support from the West Kalimantan community with various political agendas, this was analyzed from various kinds of data obtained by the author. Conclusion: There are 4 conclusions in the politicization of ethnicity in the 2018 West Kalimantan regional elections, namely from political issues and interests, political agendas and political participation as well as the formation of ethnic politicization in the 2018 West Kalimantan regional elections. Keywords: Ethnic Politicization, Regional Elections, Governor Elections ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Penulis berfokus pada permasalahan pengunaan politisasi etnis pada pilkada Kalimantan Barat periode 2018 – 2024. Tujuan: Memperoleh gambaran analisis politisasi etnis dalam pemilihan kepala daerah Provinsi Kalimantan Barat 2018. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara (28 informan), dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil yang diperoleh penulis dalam penelitian ini, yaitu dalam pemilihan gubernur kalbar 2018 ada nya politisasi etnis yang digunakan paslon dan tim sukses dalam mencari dukungan masyarakat kalbar dengan berbagai agenda politik, hal ini dianalisi dari berbagai macam data yang telah didapat oleh penulis. Kesimpulan: Ada nya 4 kesimpulan dalam politisasi etnis pada pilkada kalbar 2018, yaitu dari isu dan kepentingan politik, agenda politik dan partisipasi politik serta terbentuknya politisasi etnis pada pilkada kalbar 2018.
