Abstract

Keywords : Government Websites, Heuristic Evaluations, User Interfaces, ABSTRAK Permasalahan (GAP) : Perkembangan teknologi telah mendorong Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan untuk menggunakan website sebagai media publikasi ke masyarakat, namun seiring berjalannya waktu belum pernahnya dilakukan evaluasi terhadap antarmuka pengguna (UI) dari website sehingga peneliti menggunakan metode Heuristic Evaluation (HE) untuk mengidentifikasi kekurangan dalam UI dan meningkatkan usability serta kepuasan pengguna dalam mengakses informasi publik. Tujuan : melakukan evaluasi terhadap website pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan. Metode : Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan menggunakan teknik analisis data yang melibatkan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil/Temuan : Hasil evaluasi user interface pada Website Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan menunjukkan perlunya perbaikan pada aspek Recognition Rather than Recall berdasarkan yang dapat dijadikan dasar untuk memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan desain. Kesimpulan : Melalui beberapa aspek pada heuristic evaluation bahwa tiap aspek memiliki penilaian masing-masing serta rekomendasi yang berbeda termasuk perlunya perbaikan pada aspek recognition rather than recall.
