Abstract
Abstract Elections of regional heads and deputy regional heads, or often called elections or elections, are elections to elect local heads and deputy regional heads directly in Indonesia by eligible local residents. The Independent Election Commission is a State institution which organizes General Elections in Indonesia. As the organizer of General Election of KIP must be fair and not discriminative in the process of organizing the election of Bupati and Vice Regent of Bireuen both to the candidate pair and to the community participating in the election. There are six candidate pairs to compete in the Bireuen elections in 2017. Karen, the researcher, is interested in taking the title "Competition Policy for Regional Head Election in Regional Head Election in Bireuen District in 2017". This study aims to determine the extent to which the pairs of candidates who compete in the election competition Regent and Vice Regent of Bireuen District. In analyzing the problems that occur as well as new facts in the field, researchers use political marketing theory or political marketing from Adman Nursal. This research method is descriptive qualitative with inductive approach. The researcher sought and managed data and facts in the field and then explained in detail and deeply about the competition policy in the regional head election in Bireuen in 2017. The results show that KIP Kabupaten Bireuen must be fair and reliable in conducting the election of Bupati Regent and Vice Regent of Bireuen in 2017 and has been guided by the law.
