Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP): Gresik Regency is one of the districts in East Java Province which in recent years has experienced an increase in population growth rates caused by in�migration. Based on data held by the Population and Civil Registration Service of Gresik Regency, it is understood that residents who have migrated to Gresik Regency have not processed their population documents according to their latest domicile, this must be addressed to support the up-to-date population data. Purpose: The aim of this research is to identify and analyze incoming migration patterns in Gersik Regency, East Java Province. The research method used is a qualitative research method. The data collection techniques used by researchers are in the form of primary data or secondary data obtained through interview techniques. The researchers used Everett S. Lee's theory of factors causing migration to analyze migration patterns in Gresik Regency. Method: The research method used is a qualitative research method. Lee's theory of factors causing migration to analyze migration patterns in Gresik Regency. The data obtained was then analyzed qualitatively then final results were made and conclusions were drawn inductively. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Results: The research results show that the migration pattern formed in Gresik Regency is temporary migration which is influenced by pull factors for migrants such as employment factors in Gresik Regency, large income factors in Gresik Regency, and factors of the extent of employment opportunities in Gresik Regency. Conclusion: The migration pattern formed in Gresik Regency is temporary migration which is influenced by pull factors for migrants such as employment factors in Gresik Regency, large income factors in Gresik Regency, and factors of the extent of employment opportunities in Gresik Regency. Efforts to improve orderly population administration are carried out by the Population and Civil Registration Service through a pick-up and drop-off program. Keywords: Population, Migration, Civil Registration ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP): Kabupaten Gresik merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Provinsi Jawa Timur yang dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini telah mengalami peningkatan laju pertumbuhan penduduk yang disebabkan oleh migrasi masuk. Berdasarkan data yang dimiliki oleh Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Gresik dipahami bahwa penduduk yang telah bermigrasi ke Kabupaten Gresik belum mengurus dokumen kependudukannya sesuai dengan domisili terbaru, hal tersebut wajib disiasati untuk 2 mendukung kemutahiran data kependudukan. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pola migrasi masuk di Kabupaten Gersik Provinsi Jawa Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualiatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti berupa data primer ataupun data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara. Adapun peneliti menggunakan teori faktor penyebab migrasi Everett S. Lee untuk menganalisis pola migrasi di Kabupaten Gresik. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualiatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti berupa data primer ataupun data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara. Adapun peneliti menggunakan teori faktor penyebab migrasi Everett S. Lee untuk menganalisis pola migrasi di Kabupaten Gresik. Data�data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisa secara kualitatif kemudian dibuatkan hasil akhir dan penarikan kesimpulan dilakukan secara induktif. Teknik pengambilan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil/Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola migrasi yang terbentuk di Kabupaten Gresik adalah migrasi sementara yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor penarik bagi migran seperti faktor pekerjaan di Kabupaten Gresik, faktor besarnya pendapatan di Kabupaten Gresik, dan faktor luasnya lapangan pekerjaan di Kabupaten Gresik. Kesimpulan: Pola migrasi yang terbentuk di Kabupaten Gresik adalah migrasi sementara yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor penarik bagi migran seperti faktor pekerjaan di Kabupaten Gresik, faktor besarnya pendapatan di Kabupaten Gresik, dan faktor luasnya lapangan pekerjaan di Kabupaten Gresik. Upaya peningkatan tertib administrasi kependudukan dilakukan oleh Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil melalui program jemput bola. Kata kunci: Kependudukan, Migrasi, Pencatatan Sipil
