Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the problem of community readiness to face the application of technology, in this case the Digital Population Identity application or digital KTP which is the result of changes from KTP-el. Purpose: This study aims to identify the level of technological readiness of the community, identify and describe the factors inhibiting the level of technological readiness of the community, and identify efforts that should be made to improve the level of technological readiness of Lumajang District in implementing Digital Population Identity. Methods: This study used quantitative and qualitative methods with the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) theory by Parasuraman. The research began with designing a questionnaire according to the TRI method, then conducting validity and reliability tests. After the questionnaire passed the test, the questionnaire was distributed to research respondents. Researchers conducted interviews, documentation and observation during the research. Results: Based on the results of the study, it is known that the Insecurity variable gives the largest score, then the Optimism variable. Variables that need to be improved are Innovativeness and Discomfort variables. The TRI score obtained is 3.4964. Factors inhibiting the level of technological readiness of the Lumajang Regency community in implementing Digital Population Identity are the lack of confidence and desire of the community. Efforts that can be made to improve the level of technological readiness of the Lumajang district community include disseminating information on IKD through various means both from social media and from individuals to other individuals, activating IKD after the direct service process, as well as recording ID cards and activating IKD in high schools, vocational schools and Islamic high schools. Conclusion: the level of readiness of the Lumajang district community in implementing Digital Population Identity is in the Medium Technology Readiness category.
