Abstract

Problem/Background (GAP): Good governance is the ideal of all countries in implementing good governance for the interests of the people, nation and state so that the government must carry out systematic efforts to make this happen. The SI-TAKIR application as a new product from the Department of Transportation is one of the applications of e-government as a medium of information and complaints about parking problems for the community. Purpose: A good application is a technology that is useful for many people, but in reality there are still many people who don't know about the application, because of that the application is considered not very good in its application. This study aims to determine the application of the SI-TAKIR application to help improve parking management at the Palangkaraya City Transportation Office. The implementation of E-Government is used as a performance measurement of how the application is implemented to the community with a qualitative descriptive method in research that uses an inductive approach. Method: The e-government application theory used is according to Indrajit which consists of Support, Capacity and Value. Result/Findings: The results obtained from the implementation of this research are that the Palangkaraya City Transportation Office in the implementation of the application has indicators that are still lacking, namely in socialization, human resources and infrastructure, while the policies and benefits of the SI-TAKIR application have shown satisfactory results. The inhibiting factors faced by the Department of Transportation are the rigidity of the SI-TAKIR application, the lack of outreach to the community, and the incompetence of the Department of Transportation in operating the application. Conclusion: The efforts of the Department of Transportation in overcoming obstacles are adding application features, updating the appearance of the application so that it is attractive and easy to understand and prioritizing the integrity of the application with the Transportation Agency so that reports can be handled immediately.
