Abstract
ABSTRACT Problems/Background (GAP): The demographic bonus is a period when the number of the productive-age population exceeds the number of the non-productive-age population. The demographic bonus is associated with the emergence of an opportunity to benefit from the population, without a guarantee of success. Purpose:This study aims to determine how to optimize the demographic bonus in improving workforce absorption in Banda Aceh City. Method: This research uses descriptive qualitative research with an inductive approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Results/Findings: The method used is a qualitative method with optimization theory by Siringoringo. The research results indicate that the optimization of the demographic bonus in Banda Aceh City requires a comprehensive and integrated strategy. The low workforce absorption is due to factors such as education, work experience, skills, job availability, information, regulations, and infrastructure. Conclusion: The author suggests that there needs to be better synergy between the government, private sector, and the community, as well as an improvement in the quality of human resources and the development of new sectors in Banda Aceh City. This will allow for effective and efficient labor absorption in Banda Aceh City. Keywords: Optimization, Demographic Bonus, Labor ABSTRAK Permasalahan/Latar Belakang (GAP) : Bonus demografi adalah sebuah periode ketika jumlah penduduk usia produktif melebihi jumlah penduduk usia tidak produktif. Bonus demografi dihubungkan dengan timbulnya suatu kesempatan pemanfaatan keuntungan dari kependudukan, tanpa jaminan keberhasilan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara mengoptimalkan bonus demografi dalam meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja di Kota Banda Aceh. Metode : Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teori optimalisasi oleh Siringoringo .Hasil/Temuan : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi bonus demografi di Kota Banda Aceh membutuhkan strategi yang komprehensif dan terintegrasi. Penyerapan tenaga kerja yang masih rendah terjadi karena faktor pendidikan, pengalaman kerja, keterampilan, ketersediaan lapangan kerja, informasi, regulasi dan infrastruktur. Kesimpulan : Perlu adanya sinergitas yang lebih baik antara pemerintah, sektor swasta dan masyarakat, peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia serta pengembangan sektor baru di Kota Banda Aceh. Hal ini akan memungkinkan penyerapan tenaga kerja di kota Banda Aceh dapat berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien. Kata Kunci : Optimalisasi, Bonus Demografi, Tenaga Kerja
