Abstract
Problem Statement/Background(GAP): The author focuses on the problem of implementing the 1000 HPK program which is one of the efforts to reduce stunting cases in Surakarta City. Purpose: The aim of this study was to find out the implementation of the 1000 HPK program in overcoming stunting toddlers in Surakarta City. Method: This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Results/Findings: The findings obtained by the authors in this study are that the implementation of the 1000 HPK program in overcoming stunting toddlers in Surakarta City has been going well, although there are still obstacles that can cause stunting rates to rise again including community attitudes, low education levels, lack of awareness regarding cleanliness, there are religious groups with certain views that reject the government, and there are still several posyandu that do not have adequate facilities and infrastructure. Conclusion: The implementation of the 1000 HPK program in overcoming stunting toddlers in Surakarta City has been going well, this is supported by various parties, both the local government with DP3AP2KB and community participation. In order to improve the implementation of the 1000 HPK program in overcoming stunting toddlers in Surakarta City. Keywords: Policy implementation, stunting, and Surakarta City.
