Abstract
Problem/Background (GAP): There are still many people who do not comply with health protocols in Bengkulu City. Even though it is very important to implement this health protocol to prevent the increase in the number of spread of this virus, so that the COVID-19 disaster can be completed soon, especially in Bengkulu City. In this case, the Satpol PP is tasked with bringing order to the community in implementing health protocols so that they can control the spread of COVID-19.Purpose: to find out how effective the enforcement has been by Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Bengkulu City to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Bengkulu City, and what obstacles are being faced by the Bengkulu City Satpol PP in implementing health protocol enforcement and the forms of efforts being made by Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja in the face of these obstacles. Methods: using a qualitative descriptive research method with an inductive approach. By using data collection techniques in the form of triangulation, namely interviews, observations, and documentation, the researchers used several stages of data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Results: Adaptations have also been made by Satpol PP regarding the lack of facilities in implementing health protocols and adjustments to changing policies. Constraints faced in the form of a shortage of personnel in the implementation of health protocols and the lack of public knowledge about Perwal No. 29 of 2020 can be overcome by Satpol PP with various efforts, namely by collaborating with the TNI, Polri, and BPBD to increase the number of personnel in implementing health protocols and conducting socialization to the community, especially about the importance of taking care of yourself by implementing health protocols. Conclusion: the enforcement of health protocols by Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja has been effective where the number of positive COVID-19 in Bengkulu City has decreased and the community has complied with the applicable health protocols. The control carried out has also been integrated with other agencies related to the implementation of controlling health protocols in Bengkulu City, such as coordinating with the TNI and Polri in supervising the implementation of health protocols and taking action for those who violate health protocols in the field.
