Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): Digital development is a phenomenon that cannot be avoided. Although the definition of digital development has not been specifically agreed upon by researchers, almost all activities carried out by the people have been transferred to digital media processes. Purpose: Processes or activities that are usually done physically are drastically reduced. The pressure to switch to media so that the digital processes atau activities can continue to run during this pandemic is increasing. The government really needs a change or transformation of government for the better, especially in today's digital era. Data collection is a process of procuring primary data for research purposes. Data collection is a very important step in the scientific method, because in general the data collected is used, except for exploratory research, to test the work hypotheses that have been proposed. Method: Data collection techniques are systematic and standard procedures to obtain the required data. In general, data collection can be divided into several groups, namely: 1. Practice (observation) 2. Interviews 3. Documentation of Implementation Activities at the Communication and Information Office of Bulungan Regency with coordination carried out with the Head of the Service. Result: that digital development is inevitable if the organization wants to survive and compete. The rapid development of technology in the future causes digital development to be handled wisely. Conclusion: Organizations must prepare themselves well and the application of digital developments must be in line with the strategy owned by the organization. Strategies that are being and will be carried out when carrying out digital developments must be adjusted, for example the use of social media and also the website (PPID portal).
