Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): In providing public services by government agencies in the current era, they must make more use of information technology so that public services can be more effective and efficient. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to find out the application of Information Technology for JEPIN applications at the Pontianak City Communication and Information Technology Office and to find out the inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors for the Application of JEPIN Information Technology Applications at the Pontianak City Communication and Information Technology Office. Method: This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis process includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Result: The results of this study indicate 3 elements of success in implementing E-Government, namely: Elements of Support, namely the support or willingness of the leadership of the Pontianak City Communication and Information Office to implement E-Government and the existence of rules that support the implementation of E-Government. Elements of Capacity which includes the availability of financial resources from the APBD and the availability of human resources in the implementation of EGovernment. 3). Value elements related to the benefits felt by Government Agencies to the Community. Conclusion: The obstacles that occur in the implementation of this public information service are the lack of budget, insufficient servers and inadequate networks, and many people who do not know the JEPIN application. The last is the efforts made by the government in fixing the problems that occur, namely the procurement of online networks and the socialization of the JEPIN application.
