Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This thesis is entitled “The Role Of Civil Servant Investigators In Supporting The Performance Of The Pamong Praja Police Units In Nunukan District.” Purpose: This study aims describe the role of civil servant investigators as investigators in assisting the civil police unit in enforcing the regional regulation and regulation of the regent of Nunukan regency. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach. The data colletion techniques used are interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The focus of this research uses Soekanto’s theory in measuring the role which consist of right obligation. Result: The results showed that the capacity and role of the civil servant investigators in supporting the performance of the civil service police unit in Nunukan regency was not maximized. Based on the result of reseacrher interviews with informants and direct observations in the field, there are still dimensions that are less than optimal, such as goals that have not been fully achieved, the lack af quality and quantity of human education and knowledge of civil servant investigators in carryingout their duties and functions as invetigators, as well from goverment of Nunukan regency it’s self. Conclusion: The role of Civil Servant Investigators in supporting the performance of the Nunukan district civil service police unit is in accordance with the Nunukan district regulation number 7 of 2018, but there are still several parts that must be improved in the future.
