Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): (Contains the background behind the research). The Command Center 112 service is an innovation in public services in the city of Surabaya which functions to provide services by responding to community emergencies so that these conditions can be immediately addressed and do not have the potential to cause bigger problems. as time goes by the number of prank callers who enter the Command Center 112 service increases and there are still many people who still don't understand about the Command Center 112 service.Purpose: to find out how to optimize Command Center 112 services in the City of Surabaya, East Java Province, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for optimizing the dissemination of Command Center 112 services in Surabaya City, East Java Province, and how to overcome the inhibiting factors for optimizing the dissemination of Command Center 112 services. in the city of Surabaya, East Java province.Methode: This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with an inductive approach, where the authors obtain data by means of interviews, observation and documentation Result The number of prank callers from year to year tends to increase, especially in 2020. There are still many people in the City of Surabaya who lack an understanding of Command Center 112 services. The facilities owned by the Surabaya City BPBD are very supportive in the dissemination of Command Center 112 services so that the socialization can take place. properly and optimally.. Conclusion: Optimization of the Socialization of Command Center 112 Services in the City of Surabaya, East Java Province, is not yet optimal. The supporting factor is the relatively large number of personnel owned by the Surabaya City BPBD so that it can support in carrying out the outreach. prank callers and the public's lack of understanding. Efforts to Overcome Obstacles to the Socialization of Command Center 112 Services in the City of Surabaya, East Java Province, namely Direct Efforts. It is necessary to increase the number and quality of socialization of Command Center 112 services to the community.
