Abstract
Problem Statment/Background (GAP): The MRK application (Medan Rumah Kita) was created by the Medan City Communication and Information Office which is intended for the public to submit complaints in the city of Medan such as services, damaged roads which can be directly submitted by the city government. This MRK (Medan Rumah Kita) application can be said to be successful if the public interest or enthusiasm of the people in the city of Medan is increasing and there are fewer complaints related to this application. The phenomenon found is that there is a lack of public interest in the MRK application (Medan Rumah Kita) and the appearance of the application that must be improved again Purpose: This study aims to analyze public interest and what content is needed by the community for the Medan Rumah Kita application for the realization of Electronic Government in Medan City. Method: The theory used to explain this is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory of Davis' policy with the ease of use variable and the user interface theory in the heuristic method. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. Result : From the results of the study, it can be seen that the public's interest is still lacking in the use of the MRK application even though the existing content is good which is because people are still complaining about the slow response in the application but the content in the application is good even though it must be improved again. Conclusions and recommendations Conclusion/sugegestion: Program The MRK application itself is an approach program that helps or regional counseling in conveying regional protests and wishes to the problems of community assistance in the city of Medan, this is to build relationships between local governments and individuals.From Medan. The presence of the MRK program is also one of the efforts Medan Regional Government in realizing Electronic Government, or the use of innovation in realizing open government better, this is so that all parties are included, both device associations provinces and individual cities.
