Abstract
The development of a more effective and efficient Civil Apparatus and able to carry out development tasks and activities is a hope for any party first, digital reform and globalization. The new demands certainly have implications for the performance of the state civil apparatus to be more productive and productive in carrying out tasks which are a challenge for ASN development. efficiently have good attitude and behavior. Purpose: This study aims to obtain information and reveal in detail the relationship between discipline and motivation on performance. Method: This type of research uses a quantitative approach. Data collected through questionnaires to 114 respondents from ASN at the research locus included 3 instruments, namely discipline, motivation, and performance using Spearman correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis processed using SPSS version 26.0 and ASOCA method analysis. Result: Obtained through the Spearman test the alternative hypothesis +0.065 (>0.05) for variables X1 and X2 +0.01 (<0.05) means that there is only a relationship between X1 and Y. For multiple regression, the calculation for each variable is (-0.141) and (0.280). it is evident that only tcount X2 exceeds ttable (0.280>0.198) it is obtained that only X2 is correlated with Y for the f test, it is obtained ttable(3.087)<thtung (14.696) proves that together X1 and X2 are correlated with Y, for that effort to enforce discipline and motivation will be followed by good or bad performance. There are 9 strategies that have been implemented by the Provincial Government of North Sulawesi. Conclusion/Sugegestion: Some of the suggestions given by the researcher are: Increasing attendance, responsibility, honesty, cooperation, reporting, obligations, socialization, imposing sanctions, creating cohesiveness, cooperation, equal distribution of tasks. The socialization is expected to form an understanding of each apparatus, both related to rights and obligations. Keywords: Discipline, Motivation, Apparatus
