Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The implementation of restrictions on community activities is one of the government's policies in preventing, controlling, and stopping the increasing spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. The Covid-19 pandemic has spread rapidly to various countries around the world and has caused the organization of people's lives in various aspects to become increasingly difficult. The government continues to strive to cope with the spread of Covid-19 by taking various preventive measures to the smallest community scope. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of policies to impose restrictions on community activities in preventing and controlling the spread of Covid-19 in Semarang City, inhibiting factors, and efforts to overcome these obstacles. Method: The method that researchers use is descriptive qualitative method with inductive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Informants were determined by purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Then in conducting data analysis researchers use data reduction techniques, presentation and conclusion. Result: Based on the results of research conducted by researchers in research at the Municipal Police Semarang showed that the policy of imposing restrictions on community activities has been effective in controlling the spread of Covid-19 in Semarang City. Conclusion:Factors that hinder the effectiveness of the implementation of restrictions on community activities is the lack of community compliance, lack of tracer personnel, and uneven distribution of vaccines. Efforts were made to overcome obstacles in the form of socialization and education to the public, digitization of the vaccination system as well as the addition and training of tracer personnel.
