Abstract
Problem Statement/Baground (GAP) : The emergence of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) caused instability in Indonesia. Purpose: The purpose is the government as a policy maker continues to work on dealing with the spread of Covid-19, then issued a Presidential Instruction (Inpres) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2020 concerning Improvement of Discipline and Law Enforcement of Health Protocols in the Prevention and Control of Corona Virus Disease 2019. The City Government of Bima as government administrator In the area where the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) was praised, he then issued the Bima Mayor Regulation Number 49 of 2020 concerning General Guidelines for Handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 Based on Healthy Urban Villages in Bima City. In enforcing the Perwali, the role of the Bima City Satpol PP is needed as an enforcer of regional legal products to ensure the implementation of the implementation of health protocols in people's lives during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is entitled "ROLE OF PAMONG PRAJA POLICE UNITS IN ENFORCEMENT OF CORONA VIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19) HEALTH PROTOCOL IN BIMA CITY" Method: This study uses a qualitative research method with an inductive approach, using primary and secondary data obtained through interviews, documentation and field observations. Result : The results of this study indicate that the role of the Civil Service Police Unit in enforcing the Covid-19 health protocol in the City of Bima is classified as good according to the dimensions of authority, understanding rules, self-expression, individual behavior, functions, duties and obligations as well as self-adjustment. In the implementation of health protocol enforcement there are several obstacles such as limited budget, human resources and infrastructure and lack of public awareness. Conclusion : The efforts made by the Bima City Satpol PP in dealing with these obstacles are by increasing the budget allocation specifically for the enforcement of health protocols, recruiting new members and conducting training, updating and adding facilities and infrastructure as well as implementing more routine socialization.
