Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on problems related to the role of the civil service police unit in preventing the spread of Covid-19. Purpose : to determine the role of the Civil Service Police unit in enforcing the Regent's Regulation Number 29 of 2020 concerning the Discipline of the Health Protocol in Bulungan Regency and to find out the inhibiting factors and efforts in implementing the Regent's Regulation enforcement by the Bulungan Regency Civil Service Police Unit. Method : The research method used is descriptive qualitative method, which provides an overview of the facts of the object under study, namely the implementation of the enforcement of the Regent's Regulation by the Civil Service Police Unit. Data collection techniques in conducting this research are through observation, and interviews. n general, the position of the Civil Service Police Unit is under and responsible to the Regional Head through the Regional Secretariat. This means that the implementation of the duties of the Civil Service Police Unit is to the regional head. Result : The role of the Civil Service Police Unit in enforcing the Regent's Regulation on Health Protocol discipline in Bulungan Regency is to disseminate the Regent's Regulation by installing billboards in areas that have the potential for mass gatherings to occur and also to disseminate through loudspeakers with mobile patrols. Conclusion : the Civil Service Police Unit distributed masks to the public and provided social and physical sanctions to the people of Bulungan Regency who violated the Health Protocol. Suggestion, the Civil Service Police Unit to take a traditional approach by involving traditional officials in counseling and socializing the Regent's Regulation regarding Health Protocol discipline to the people of Bulungan Regency as an effort to prevent the spread of covid-19 in Bulungan Regency.
