Abstract
ABSTRACT Problem Statement/Background (GAP): It is widely understood that the implementation of e-government in improving the quality of public services requires fast data and information processing. At the national level, many local governments have taken the initiative to implement e-government. Purpose: One application of e-government is digital public information services. This study aims to determine how the process of developing e-government through public information services is carried out by Diskominfo Kupang City by using the theory of successful implementation of e-government, namely support, capacity and value. Method: This study uses a qualitative research method where the researcher as the research instrument goes directly to the Diskominfo of Kupang City. The findings of this study indicate that public information services are being carried out by Diskominfo Kupang City. Result: E-government still has many obstacles in terms of human resources, funds, and existing infrastructure. Various programs were then formed to encourage better implementation of e-government. Various training programs and digital literacy are continuously implemented to achieve e-government success. Conclusion: The value or benefits of implementing this public information service obtained by the Kupang City government is to provide satisfying and pleasant services for people who need information services and provide communication and information services via the internet for free.
