Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): A phenomenon that the world did not expect and Indonesia was hopeless in 2020. This virus certainly has many impacts on all regions in Indonesia, including the DKI Jakarta province, such as on society, on education, work, politics, and also the economy of an area. In DKI Jakarta Province, Regional Original Revenue (PAD) has decreased so that the financing of regional infrastructure development is hampered. The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, of course, continues to do its best in making strategies that are expected to increase Regional Original Income (PAD). Purpose: This study aims to find out what are the strategies carried out by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in increasing Regional Original Income (PAD) in an effort to finance regional development during the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: The author uses a qualitative research design with a descriptive method through an inductive approach, namely a research method that describes problems based on specific facts and then solves general/general problems. This study will describe the strategy undertaken by the Regional Financial Management Agency of DKI Jakarta Province in increasing local revenue (PAD) in an effort to finance regional development. Result: The strategy carried out by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government certainly has an important role in increasing regional income after the economic downturn in the DKI Jakarta province. Conclusion: The strategy taken by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to increase PAD in an effort to finance regional development is to increase regional income by optimizing the potential of PAD and facilities and infrastructure to improve PAD performance. BEARING. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is expected to continue to carry out developments in regional development financing and also create strategic breakthroughs that are even better than before, not forgetting to continue to pay attention to trends so that these strategies can adapt to the times so that the strategies made are not in vain.
