Abstract
Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the problem of the local government's strategy that is not yet right in solving the problem of decreasing local revenue during the Covid-19 pandemic. Purrpose: This study aims to analyze local government strategies, inhibiting factors, and efforts made by local governments by the Regional Revenue Management Agency in West Nusa Tenggara Province through intensification and extensification of PAD in West Nusa Tenggara Province. Method: This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a qualitative research type. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews, observations and document studies. The analysis technique in this paper is SWOT analysis, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Result: The results of the study show that the regional government strategy in increasing PAD in the Covid-19 pandemic era is carried out by entensification and extensification programs. The Regional Government Strategy in Increasing PAD in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era, carried out with an intensification program, namely the institutional aspect, namely improving the institutional aspect/management of PAD, the management aspect, namely increasing PAD, adjusting aspects of both administrative and operational management. Extensification efforts are carried out by creating tax sources. and regional retributions that are in accordance with those carried out by the Regional Revenue Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province by exploring tax objects from several types of taxes and levies that have a positive impact on regional revenues, namely regional original income. Conclusion: The regional government's strategy in increasing regional original income in the Covid-19 pandemic era is through intensification and extensification. The SWOT analysis serves as a very powerful tool to increase capabilities and identify the inefficiency of BAPPENDA resources, opportunities and threats from the external environment. So it can be said that the intensification and extensification efforts are one way that can be achieved to increase PAD
