Abstract

ABSTRACT Problem/Background (GAP): the author focuses on the problem of decreasing the number of public participation in the conduct of general elections from 2015 to 2020 where voter education has been programmed to achieve an increase in public participation in each election Purpose: collect data and then analyze to obtain results that can provide an overview of the Implementation of the Tourism Grant Program, outlining what factors are the inhibitors and supporters, as well as the efforts made in addressing these inhibiting factors. Method: The research design used in this study is qualitative research using descriptive methods and inductive approaches. Data collection techniques use three ways, namely, interviews, observations, and documentation. The data that has been collected is analyzed starting from data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research was carried out at the Tourism Office of Gianyar Regency. Results/Findings: The implementation of the Tourism Grant Program policy in Gianyar Regency was quite well implemented based on the 15 indicators used, but there was still 1 indicator that did not meet the standards so that the implementation of this policy had reached 93.4%. Conclusion: From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Tourism Grant Program has been carried out. However, there are still obstacles in the implementation of the policy. Keywords: Effectiveness, Voter Education, Community participation
