Abstract

Problem/Background (GAP): The flood disaster that hit Tambakploso Village is known to be a natural disaster that always occurs every year. So, researchers analyze and formulate appropriate and fast strategies according to existing conditions in Tambakploso Village so that they can find out the right efforts and obstacles that influence flood disaster management in Tambakploso Village to be optimal. Objective: This research aims to formulate strategies based on regional conditions and available resources in overcoming flood disasters in Tambakploso Village. Method: This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and an inductive approach through data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation as well as SOAR analysis techniques in strategy formulation. Results/Findings: The findings obtained by the author in this research are that flood disaster management in Tambakploso Village is still not optimal, and there are several inhibiting factors so that the author formulates 5 (five) strategies that can be used in flood disaster management for all related parties. Conclusion: Flood disaster management is still not optimal and active coordination is needed between the community, the Tambakploso Village government and agencies and third parties who can work together to maximize flood disaster management. Existing inhibiting factors can be overcome by utilizing supporting factors such as available human resources, available equipment, geographical conditions, and sufficient funding.
